Off Stage
Kelsey's drive stems beyond the creative and into the responsibility of advocacy and equity. She is rigorously working to improve herself as an artist and this tenacious work ethic is a strength outside of her artistry as well. As an artist, she approaches her activism through the lens of human connection and empathy. Kelsey is a performer, but most importantly a storyteller and she is determined to use her voice to take actions that will benefit those whose voices need to be lifted.
currently:
Kelsey knew her passion for performing was fated to turn into her career when she was the only Oompa Loompa that got to say lines in a park district performance of Willy Wonka. Since that ~inspiring~ role at age 7, Kelsey continued to find her place on the stage. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she was exposed to incredible theatre and training throughout her adolescence. A recent graduate of
The Boston Conservatory, Kelsey received a BFA in Musical Theatre with a Songwriting emphasis. She currently resides in New York City writing and performing her own music, while continuing to pursue her theatrical career.
